The first step to service the Heater Control Valve includes disconnecting the water valve control cable from the water valve but control cable adjustment must happen during subsequent installation. You should disconnect the water hoses by placing pliers over the hose clips' claws while sliding them along the hoses prior to removing them. Installation requires inserting the hose onto the heater radiator pipe until you reach the second pipe ridge and then continuing the insertion onto the water valve pipe until it reaches the water valve position before securing the hose clip properly. Detach the final components including the bolt as well as the water valve because that will mark the conclusion of installation.
