Removal of the Coolant Temperature Sensor of the 1GR-FE engine would be by disconnection of the negative battery terminal and wait 90 seconds. Disassemble the intake air surge tank, parting fuel pipes sub-assemblies and the intake manifold. Lastly, remove the sensor connector, sensor and gasket.
