To repair and service the Transmission Oil Cooler, first the left fender liner is removed. Next, remove the oil cooler hoses by loosening the two clips and removing the two hoses. Once you have removed the oil cooler assembly bolts, remove the oil cooler from the engine. Use a torque of 74 Nm (75 kgf-cm, 65 inch lbs.) on the three bolts that hold the oil cooler on the assembly. Subsequently, we must take off the 2 bolts that attach the oil cooler duct to the oil cooler with a torque of 4.9 Nm (50 kgf-cm, 43 inch lbs.). Then we take off the 4 bolts and 2 brackets at a torque of 4.9 Nm (50 kgf-cm, 43 inch lbs.). To install, perform in the reverse order of removal; after installation, fill the ATF and check fluid level.
