Install the bracket of the LH side rear shock absorber assembly by using the bolt and nut to fasten the shock absorber but fix the nut only and leave the bolt temporary. The upper shock absorber side needs a temporary mounting to the suspension member using an additional bolt paired with a nut that requires fixing before the bolt gets fastened. Fasten the shock absorber to the axle carrier through two bolts which should be torqued to 80 Nm (816 kgf-cm, 59 ft-lbf). Position the suspension arm between the suspension member and axle carrier while using 1 bolt together with 2 nuts that remain temporarily in place. The installer should begin by attaching the rear upper
Control Arm assembly LH in a temporary basis. Install the rear wheel before tightening it to 103 Nm while maintaining a torque of 1,050 kgf-cm or 76 ft-lbf. Deplete the vehicle height then apply force multiple times to achieve suspension stability. Fix the nut in position and tighten the bolt of the rear shock absorber assembly LH until it reaches 80 Nm (816 kgf-cm, 59 ft-lbf). Verify and adjust the rear wheel alignment properly if needed.
