Q: How to replace the rear bumper cover on Toyota Highlander?
A:
The process to replace a rear bumper cover starts by removing the spare wheel cover tray together with luggage compartment tray along with rear floor finish plate through four clip extraction using a screwdriver with tape on the tip. Begin by taking out the four screws from the quarter panel mudguard sub-assembly rear RH before moving onto the quarter panel mudguard sub-assembly rear LH. Complete the rear bumper cover removal by taking out 2 clips and 2 screws as well as other clips followed by removing 4 screws and 4 nuts. You should use a screwdriver to reach under the rear bumper cover and push against the rear bumper cover retainer while you elevate the cover so you can pull away the claws from their position. Using a screwdriver press down the claws of the rear bumper cover retainer while keeping up the rear bumper cover to pull it completely to your side and separate the claws for removal.
Q: How to replace the front bumper cover on Toyota Highlander?
A:
Start by removing the radiator grille through the process of disconnecting its 4 clips. The front fender liner on the right-hand side requires removal by unscrewing 2 screws followed by 4 clips for access to one extra screw and a fragment of the liner to extract the bumper cover. The identical steps should be performed on the left-hand side fender liner. Start by unscrewing six screws together with two bolts before disconnecting the fog lamp connector on models that feature this equipment. Continue by uninstalling the fog lamp unit from the right-hand side followed by the left-hand side. If fog lights are absent from both right and left sides of the front bumper then users should remove the hole covers.
