In order to service the camshaft, disconnect the negative battery terminal and drain the coolant. Add and delete different elements, position the No. 1 cylinder on TDC and label chain links. Carefully remove camshafts, check runout, cam lobe height. Mount the timing gear, torque and good rotation must be observed.

Install timing marked links, set the No. 1 cylinder to TDC and remove chain tensioners. Do the same with the No. 2, No. 4 and No. 3 camshafts, but connect the No. 1 chain with string.
