The park/neutral position switch installation requires two bolts to attach before tightening them to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.). The next step involves installing a new lock plate alongside its nut which should be torqued to 6.9 Nm (70 kgf-cm, 61 inch lbs.). Then bend the claws of the lock plate to hold the nut before placing the control shift lever with its nut torqued to 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.).
