Toyota Celica Coolant Temperature Sensor provides real-time temperature readings of the heat to the ECU to enable the sporty coupe to maintain its power without overheating. The Toyota Celica was born in 1973 and was a combination of sharp styling, nimble handling, and reliable Toyota build quality, which is what young drivers could love. The initial models were powered by the spirited 1.6-liter 2T engine; subsequent models added the torquey 20R, and both power units proved economical at the pumps as well as capable of making the car commute as easily as the back roads sprint. Engineers reinforced the body with heavier rails, safety bumpers were installed, and even a smooth-shifting 4R automatic was offered so the car could be as much at ease in commute as in a sprint on the back roads.
