On the alternator, slide the alternator in, align pulley faces using a straight edge and evenly clamp the hardware up to the mentioned torque and apply thread locker as needed. Install the drive belt properly with tension, turn the pulleys manually to make sure there is no clearance, reconnect the battery, start the engine, and listen to any strange sounds.
