The procedure for w/pulley compressor assembly replacement starts with refrigerant discharge from the refrigeration system by using Special Service Tool: 07110-58060 (07117-58080, 07117-58090, 07117-78050, 07117-88060, 07117-88070, 07117-88080). The fan and generator V belt should be removed along with cooler refrigerant discharge hose No.1 by unfastening its bolt and O-ring before sealing each opening with vinyl tape to block moisture and foreign material entry. Afterwards disconnect the suction hose sub assembly by removing its bolt together with its O-ring before sealing all openings. Detach both the engine under cover RH and w/pulley compressor assembly by removing its connector and 4 bolts. Before installing the new compressor and magnetic clutch users should inspect the oil amounts and use ND-OIL 8 as the compressor oil. The w/pulley compressor assembly must be installed with four bolts reaching a torque of 25 Nm and connected to power. The suction hose sub assembly installation necessitates vinyl tape removal followed by the application of compressor oil to a new O-ring installation before bolt tightening to 9.8 Nm (100 kgf.cm) (87 in.lbf). Follow the same procedure for cooler refrigerant discharge hose No.1 by applying compressor oil to the new O-ring then torquing the bolt to 9.8 Nm (100 kgf.cm, 87 in.lbf). The installation process of the fan and generator V belt should be followed by belt adjustment while the charging of the refrigerant requires the use of Special Service Tool: 07110-58060 (07117-58060, 07117-58070, 07117-58080, 07117-58090, 07117-78050, 07117-88060, 07117-88070, 07117-88080) to maintain a 460 plus or minus 30 g (16.2 plus or minus 1.1 oz.) measurement of refrigerant before engine warm-up to verify no leakage occurs.
