The Scion Door Seal is a gasket that lines the frame and prevents the wind, water and noise to enter the cabin and makes the interior of the Scion quiet. With the remarkable cars that were easy to purchase and customize, since 2003 Scion has invited young drivers with remarkably compact cars supported by the continuously creative marketing with bold paint choices to limited Release Series models. In order to install a new Door Seal in your Scion, you need to remove the old one and scrape away the old adhesive and wipe the pinch weld. Allow the medium to dry. Door Seal of the right size must fit along the groove without stretching, therefore test fit all corners first, before using glue. Apply a line of weatherstrip adhesive, stick the Door Seal all the way around the frame, top to bottom, crimp any clips, close the door and ensure that it is pressed evenly.
