The process of changing a filter is very simple provided you have step by step instructions. On the one hand, it is important to park on flat terrain, lift the vehicle, and remove the negative battery lead. Place a drain pan under the transmission, loosen the pan bolts in a uniform pattern, and then turn the pan downwards in such that the fluid does not splash out. Take out the old gasket, get out the worn-out filter and their O-ring, and wipe down the pan and the magnet till they are shiny. Install the fresh O-ring and Automatic Transmission Filter and install a new gasket and evenly screw the pan back together. Last but not least, fill it with the designated fluid, turn on the engine, scan it, make sure it is on the level and leave the rest to the Automatic Transmission Filter.
