    A: When installing the hatchback front wiper motor you need to fasten it with 3 bolts while torqueing them to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf) then lubricate the crank arm pivot with Denso No. 50 grease before attaching the rod. First attach the motor connector after sliding the wiper link through the body rubber pin to install its mounting hardware. Securing this assembly requires torqueing the 2 bolts to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf). Attach the cowl top ventilator louver LH by setting four claws before using two clips for installation. The cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly installation requires connecting the washer hose first then using 11 claws to install it before reattaching the hose with 1 clip and finishing with 2 hooks to position cowl top ventilator louver center No. 1. Fasten the hood to cowl top seal using seven clips for installation. The process for installing the front wiper arm and blade assembly LH includes removing metal powder from the wiper arm serrated section followed by serrations cleaning along with wiper operation until the motor stops automatically and blade tip positioning based on the windshield mark before tightening the nut to 26 Nm (265 kgf-cm, 19 ft-lbf). Repetitions of these steps should be performed on the front wiper arm and blade assembly located on the right-hand side. The claw installation of both front wiper arm head caps must be followed by connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal while torquing it to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf).
