  A: The first step to remove the fuel injector for the 2ZR-FE engine requires fuel system pressure discharge. The maintenance procedure starts with head cover removal from the No. 2 cylinder then moves to ventilation hose extraction. The engine wire harness needs disconnection by removing its 3 bolts together with the harness clamp and 4 fuel injector connectors. First disconnect all five wire harness clamps and after that remove two bolts to detach the two harness bracket assemblies. The first step is to detach both the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose and the vacuum hose before unfastening the fuel pipe clamp.
