How to remove the rear Tail Light assembly on 2010 Scion xB?

You need to remove the rear combination light service cover by using a screwdriver with protective tape wrapped around its tip to loosen the 7 claws which leads to service cover removal. After disconnecting the connector you must remove the 3 nuts before pushing the rear combination light back toward the vehicle rear. Detach the rear combination light lens gasket from the body before installing a new one to stop water intrusions. You can remove the rear turn signal light bulb by following the arrow direction when turning the socket and bulb. Once removed you should extract the bulb from its socket. To remove and replace the rear combination light bulb you must follow the arrow instructions on the rear combination light socket and bulb before taking off the bulb itself from the socket.
