2010 Scion tC Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to remove the power door lock actuator on 2010 Scion tC?
A: The first step to remove the power door lock actuator requires disconnecting battery negative terminal cable followed by waiting at least 90 seconds to deactivate Air Bag and seat belt pretensioners. The first step requires removal of the assist grip cover LH followed by the power window regulator master switch assembly on the driver side and next is the door control switch assembly on the passenger side. After disconnecting the front door trim board sub-assembly you must also remove the front door inside handle sub-assembly together with the front door service hole cover. You should now proceed to take off the front door frame sub-assembly rear lower and the front door outside handle cover. You must take out the front door lock assembly as the final step. Both LH and RH sides must receive identical procedures and the standard bolt chart contains a bolt entry when torque values are not specified.
