The vane pump assembly installation requires 2 bolts to be torqued at 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf) while the oil pressure switch connector must be connected without any oil on its surface. After securing the new gasket on the pressure feed tube you should attach it to the union bolt by torquing it to 51 Nm (520 kgf-cm, 38 ft-lbf) while connecting the return hose through the clip. The fan needs installing with a generator V belt followed by connecting the cable to the negative terminal at a torque of 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35 in-lbf). Add power steering fluid before bleeding the power steering system. The final step includes attaching engine under cover sub-assembly No. 1 (for 4WD and Pre-Runner) and tightening it to 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf).
