- Q: How to remove the front Sway Bar Kit on 2009 Toyota Sienna?A: Beginning the removal task of the front sway bar kit in 4WD requires you to take off the front wheels first. The front sway bar link assembly detachment begins with the left-hand side installation before following the same method for the right-hand side. Place the front sway bar kit out by dismantling the center exhaust pipe assembly. Both bolts securing the No.1 front sway bar bracket from the left-hand side must be removed followed by separation of the left-hand side front sway bar bracket No.2. Finish the right-hand operation by doing the same steps. Use Special Service Tool: 09628-62011 to separate the tie rod assembly first on the left-hand side and then on the right-hand side. The technician must use Special Service Tool: 09023-12701 to separate the pressure feed tube assembly before moving on to the steering intermediate shaft assembly. Drain out the rack and pinion power steering gear assembly from the vehicle and then extract the manifold stay. The maintenance steps include removing the exhaust manifold sub-assembly on the right-hand side. Finish the operation by uninstalling the front sway bar bushing at No. 1 followed by the front sway bar kit itself.
