  A: The process to remove the HVAC condenser begins with refrigerant discharge from the refrigeration system followed by disconnecting the negative battery cable until a minimum 90-second period elapses to avoid Air Bag pretensioner and seat pretensioner activation. Begin by taking off the bumper cover on the front side before separating the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose through bolt deletion and hose detachment. Then remove the O-ring from the assembly. Apply vinyl tape to seal off the open ends of disconnected components in order to shield them from moisture and foreign substances. To disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe you must first remove the bolt followed by the pipe which enables inspection of the O-ring before sealing all openings with vinyl tape. First disconnect the radiator support upper bracket by removing its two bolts with attached brackets before removing the No. 2 fan shroud through its two bolts.
