Start drive belt removal on the 2AZ-FE engine by removing the right-hand side engine under cover. Programming Special Service Tools 09216-42010 and 09216-04010 allows you to carefully turn the V-ribbed belt tensioner clockwise. The V-ribbed belt must be carefully detached from every pulley before returning the tensioner slowly. Set the Special Service Tool together with other tools securely onto the tensioner before compressing the tensioner while being cautious about finger pinching between parts.
