  A: The first step to replace the headlight dimmer switch requires the front wheels should face forward while you disconnect the negative battery cable terminal for at least 90 seconds to disable SRS functions. The technician must start by eliminating the lower No. 3 steering wheel cover and afterward remove the lower No. 2 steering wheel cover and finally take off the steering pad. Operations start with removing the steering wheel assembly followed by the center instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly and the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly. The technician must remove the meter hood sub-assembly together with the lower instrument panel finish panel assembly and the shift lever knob sub-assembly for manual and automatic transaxles.
