Application of MP grease on the lip of a new front crankshaft oil seal is a necessary step before installation into the 2AZ-FE engine. The front crankshaft oil seal requires Special Service Tool: 09223-22010 with a hammer for installation until its surface reaches the front oil seal retainer edge without direct contact on the seal lip and maintaining a plane contact. Secure the crankshaft pulley using Special Service Tool 09213-54015 before bolting it to 180 Nm (1835 kgf-cm, 133 ft-lbf). Installation of the V-ribbed belt follows after which the technician must inspect for oil leaks before displaying the RH engine under cover and ultimately torquing the front wheel to 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf).
