The ECM requires four bolts with a torque specification of 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf) when installing it although the gasket should remain unfolded and free from being caught and no foreign material must exist between the gasket and adjacent components. Press down both ECM connector locks with caution for security against the entry of foreign objects such as dirt-water. Also avoid wire harness twisting and raise lock levers to 90 degrees before connection for protection. Check that all lock levers are tightly secured.
