How to remove the cigarette lighter on 2009 Toyota Land Cruiser?

The process to remove the cigarette lighter requires beginning with the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion followed by the lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly LH, then the No. 1 instrument panel finish panel cushion, and finally the lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly RH. As the next step remove the lower center instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly from the vehicle. Separate the 2 claws from the cigarette lighter cover because the cigarette lighter assembly requires removal after you take away the cigarette lighter knob together with the element assembly. The screwdriver should be taped before using it to detach the claw which allows removal of the cigarette lighter socket and retainer assembly. The 2 claws must be detached for removal of the cigarette lighter bezel stay.
