How to remove the cigarette lighter on 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser?

The process to remove the cigarette lighter begins by removing the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion while also removing both the lower instrument panel pad sub-assemblies from the LH and RH sides followed by the No. 1 instrument panel finish panel cushion. The technician should take off the lower center instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly. The two claws need to be detached to pull out the cigarette lighter cover. The cigarette lighter assembly removal requires first disassembling the cigarette lighter knob along with its element before using a screwdriver to pull off the claw for extracting the cigarette lighter socket and retainer assembly. Please tape the screwdriver tip prior to use. Two claws can be removed to detach the bezel stay for the cigarette lighter section.
