    A: The first step for changing the power steering vane pump requires disconnecting the negative battery cable. Marshal the sub-assembly for Engine under cover No. 1 then move on to remove the Fan along with Generator V belt. Begin by draining power steering fluid then detach the No. 1 oil reservoir to pump hose by removing its clip. Unscrew the union bolt which connects the pressure feed tube assembly before disconnecting the tube while removing its gasket from the tube. Complete removal of the vane pump requires disconnecting the oil pressure switch connector followed by removing the bolt securing the wire harness clamp bracket and taking out the two bolts from the vane pump assembly.
