  A: In order to disable the SRS system start by disconnecting the battery cable and waiting 90 seconds before proceeding. Detach the head cap from the front wiper arm and remove both front wiper arms and their blades on each side of the vehicle. Take all parts off the hood to cowl top seal including the center No. 1 cowl top ventilator louver and left plus right cowl top ventilator louvers. Take out the windshield front pillar decorations from both sides plus the map light unit with or without sliding roof and remove the visor assemblies including the front assist grip support system and No. 1 room light fixture. You will need to take away the visor holder and inner rear view mirror panel with possible EC mirror attachment. Lower the front roof headliner when needed to work on the windshield glass from the sunroof opening.
