The service starts by disassembling the steering wheel assembly together with removal of the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly. Continue with the removal starting by taking the lower steering column cover followed by the upper steering column cover. To take out the steering angle sensor from the spiral cable a technician must separate 6 claws and 2 pins from the device.
