The correct procedure for installing the V-ribbed belt on the 2AZ-FE engine starts with using Special Service Tool: 09216-42010 together with a 19 mm socket wrench to rotate the V-ribbed belt tensioner arm clockwise until loose so the V-ribbed belt can be installed. Placing the Special Service Tool along with the wrench in complete parallel position remains vital for the procedure. Reduce the tensioner speed to a clockwise rotation during at least 3 seconds while preventing sudden pressure application. After the tensioner reaches its complete retracted position you must avoid adding any additional force. Check that the installed belt remains in place within the ribbed grooves and that no portion has escaped from grooves around the bottom of the crank pulley. Follow by installing the front fender apron seal RH then the engine under cover RH before installing the front wheel RH with proper torque at 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf).
