  A: You must install the 2AZ-FE charging system generator assembly by using an 8.4 Nm (86 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf) torque when securing the wire harness clamp bracket. The first step is to fasten the generator assembly with two bolts tightened to Bolt A at 21 Nm (215 kgf-cm, 16 ft-lbf) and Bolt B at 52 Nm (530 kgf-cm, 38 ft-lbf). Lastly, connect the generator wire to terminal B through a nut which requires a torque of 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf). First attach the clamp before connecting the generator connector to the generator assembly. After that install the two wire harness clamps. Position the fan along with the generator V belt. Only then should you fit the rear engine under cover RH before connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal while applying 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47 in-lbf) torque.
