How to remove the alternator on 2008 Scion xB?

The first step to remove an alternator starts with disconnecting the negative battery cable. The first step is to remove the rear engine under cover on the right-hand side and the fan and generator V belt. The first step requires the generator connector to be disconnected followed by nut removal to disconnect terminal B wire harness and lastly the separation of clamps on the wire harness. The generator assembly requires removal of two securing bolts before removing the bolt holding the wire harness clamp bracket.
