Turn the crank arm of the windshield wiper motor into its required position and apply DENSO No. 50 grease to the pivot before installing the rod onto the wiper link. The windshield wiper motor and link assembly can be installed with 4 bolts torqued to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47 in-lbf), then connect the connector. The installation of cowl top ventilator louver LH requires attaching 5 claws and 2 clips before putting in place the hood to cowl top seal through 8 clips. The installation of the front wiper arm and blade assembly LH requires operating the wiper to position the windshield wiper motor at automatic stop before cleaning all parts and wrenching the nut to 34.3 Nm (350 kgf-cm, 25 ft-lbf) while holding the arm hinge by hand.
