2008 Toyota Solara Wiper Motor Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to remove the front wiper motor on 2008 Toyota Solara?
A: The first step to remove the front wiper motor begins with disengaging the claw that secures the windshield wiper arm cover. Start by removing the nut which cues separation of the windshield wiper arm and blade assembly LH. Then unfasten the same procedure on the windshield wiper arm and blade assembly RH. Start by detaching the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly through the removal of 2 clips and releasing 12 claws. The next step involves disconnecting the connector before removing the 4 bolts to extract the windshield wiper motor together with its linking assembly. Tape the screwdriver tip to prevent damage before removing the rod at the crank arm pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly. After taping, proceed to detach the windshield wiper motor assembly by removing 3 bolts.
