How to remove the rear spoiler on 2008 Toyota Solara?

The process to remove the rear spoiler begins with removing the luggage compartment door inside handle cover followed by the luggage compartment door handle inside and finishing with taking off the luggage compartment door cover. The first step comprises removing the rear spoiler sub-assembly through bolt removal of 4 fasteners and subsequent body protection with tape. Heat the spoiler with caution while avoiding intense heat and attach wooden blocks to wire ends to make handles. Before future reuse of the spoiler you need to use piano wire for scraping off adhesive tape while maintaining the spoiler's integrity and preventing body damage. Finally, remove the spoiler.
