  A: Start the Park/Neutral Position Switch Assembly installation for the U241E AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE by attaching it to the manual valve shaft while securely applying two bolts. Apply new lock washer to the manual valve shaft while tightening its nut to 6.9 Nm torque which is equal to 70 kgf-cm and 61 in-lbf. Instal the control shaft lever only for a temporary period while rotating it counterwise to a full stop before proceeding to rotate it clockwise until reaching 2 notches before removal. Place the groove in proper alignment with the neutral basic line before tightening the 2 bolts to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). Place the lock washer on the nut and stake it using a screwdriver before installing the control shaft lever with washer and nut and tighten to 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf). The shift control cable must link to the control shaft lever with its nut which requires torquing at 15 Nm (153 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf). The switch connector should also join during this process.
