  • Q: How to remove the front wiper motor and link on 2008 Toyota Prius?
    A: Begin by disconnecting the front wiper motor and link by first removing the front wiper arm head cap and afterwards removing the front wiper arm LH with its 2 nuts. The next step is to remove the front wiper arm RH after you detach its retaining nut. You must detach all 8 clips from the hood to cowl top seal before taking out the 8 claws and clip from the cowl top ventilator louver LH and repeating this process on the cowl top ventilator louver RH. Detach the connector before uninstalling the 5 bolts to retrieve the windshield wiper motor and link assembly from its position. A flat-head screwdriver should be used to separate the windshield wiper link arm from the crank arm pivot through the point where the screwdriver tip has been taped. Prior to removing the crank arm separate the nut and washer until you can take off both components with the wiper motor installed for reinstallation. You must remove the windshield wiper motor through detaching the 3 bolts.
