  A: The 1NZ-FXE engine control system requires installation of the Engine Control Module (ECM) with a two-screw alignment of the No. 3 ECM bracket and a four-screw attachment of the 2 No. 2 ECM brackets along with the three-screw fastening of the 3 No. 1 ECM brackets. The installation of the ECM begins with applying 2 nuts that require 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 in-lbf) torque for attachment before the ECM joins with the bracket using 2 nuts and a bolt at the same torque value. Provide a connection between all four hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors along with the four ECM connectors. The initial step involves mounting the No. 3 heater to the register duct before proceeding to install the instrument panel sub-assembly by putting in the instrument panel.
