How to remove the front side Car Speakers on 2008 Toyota Matrix?

The replacement of front side speakers begins by taking off the front door pull handle LH before continuing to remove the power window regulator master switch assembly when power windows exist in the vehicle. Start the dismantling process by first removing the upper front armrest base panel when power windows are not present. The next step requires detachment of the front door trim board sub-assembly which is located on the LH side. The front No. 1 speaker requires the connection to be disconnected then a drill with a 4 mm (0.16 in.) diameter should be used to drill through the 3 rivet heads but maintain careful control of rivet flanges without harming the holes or breaking the drill. When drilling the rivet release holes exercise safety as the metal will remain hot and continue the drill process to expel any strengthened debris. Application of a vacuum cleaner removes drilled rivets and dust from within the front door panel after drilling. To remove the front No. 2 speaker from its panel the connector should be disconnected and two nuts need removal before actual extraction.
