2008 Toyota Land Cruiser Mirror Switch Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to install the retractable outer mirror switch on 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser?
A: Before installation of the retractable outer mirror switch the user should attach 2 claws to maintain the switch position. The 4 claws need installation to assemble the outer mirror switch assembly. Attaching the No. 1 Switch Hole Base happens after securing the No. 1 Lower Instrument Panel Finish Panel and then Installing the No. 1 Instrument Panel Under Cover Sub-Assembly. You should install the No. 2 instrument cluster finish panel garnish and the No. 1 instrument cluster finish panel garnish after the other components. The last steps include installing the lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly LH and the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion. Any bolt appearing on the standard bolt chart will not contain a torque specification.
