2008 Toyota Land Cruiser Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to access the A/C Switch without a multi-display on 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser?
A: The removal process of the air conditioning panel starts with disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable and waiting for a minimum 90 seconds followed by SRS system deactivation. You need to start by taking off the speaker opening cover assembly which is numbered No. 1 then continue with removing assemblies No. 3 and No. 4 that are part of the instrument panel register system. The technician must remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket followed by moving the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion after that. Both the lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly on the left and the No. 1 instrument panel finish panel cushion need removal separately. The series of removals consists first of the right lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly followed by the lower center instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly. When withdrawing the air conditioning control assembly begin by pulling the radio receiver until the five claws on its backside separate then disconnect the connectors before you can remove the radio receiver.
