How to remove the luggage Car Speakers on 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser?

You must disconnect the negative battery terminal cable as your first step when removing the luggage speaker. Both rear seatback board carpet assemblies from the RH and LH sides need to be removed. Both pieces of the rear seatback assembly must be removed before proceeding to remove the rear floor board and rear floor mat support plate. Operationally remove the luggage hold belt striker assembly and the rear floor mat assembly before taking off the front door scuff plate and access door scuff plate. First remove the front door opening trim Weather Strip followed by the deck side garnish with woofer and finally take out the speaker mounting cover with woofer and the amplifier box speaker assembly with woofer. Remove the quarter trim pocket without woofer and the package holder net hook and the side trim cover and quarter trim pocket tray only when applicable. The next step requires uninstallation of the lap belt outer anchor cover alongside the rear seat outer belt assembly. First remove the rear deck trim with power outlet socket followed by the deck trim side panels from both sides. The roof side inner garnish needs removal before disconnecting the speaker connector and removing 2 bolts to detach the speaker mounting bracket. The completion of rear speaker removal requires you to detach the clamp and both 2 bolts.
