The first step to remove the Amplifier Box Speaker Assembly requires disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. You should start by removing the deck side garnish and speaker mounting cover which require disconnection of their 8 clips. Remove the 4 screws to detach the amplifier box speaker assembly after disconnecting its speaker connector. Position the amplifier box speaker with four screws following an 8.1 N.m (85 kgf.cm, 72 in.lbf) torque value then install the speaker connector. Follow this procedure by connecting the 8 clips along the speaker mounting cover before securing the deck side garnish. To complete the installation process reconnect the cable to the negative battery terminal at 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf).
