Begin by disconnecting the connector prior to taking out the 2 mounting nuts. Reach inside the vehicle to pinch the clip with your fingers while removing the clip from the vehicle and extracting the pin to remove the rear combination light in its entirety. Technicians must follow this procedure for treating the RH and LH sides of the vehicle yet the instructions apply specifically to the LH side.
