First install the front coil spring upper insulator followed by a front spring bumper that needs to be placed into the air discharge groove and rib portion of the coil spring seat upper until it is properly seated. Place the coil spring seat upper and both the strut mounting bearing and the spring bumper onto the shock absorber. Tighten a new nut on the front support to front shock absorber and remove the Special Service Tool from the front coil spring before securing the shock absorber rod with a socket hexagon wrench 6 while tightening the nut to 33 Nm (340 kgf-cm, 25 ft-lbf).
