How to install the front speed sensor on 2008 Scion xB?

Before installing the front speed sensor begin by attaching it to the steering knuckle bolt while applying 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf) torque. Check that the sensor tip remains clean along with the installation area while maintaining the sensor angle at its original position. Clamp C should be installed onto the shock absorber followed by securing the No. 1 sensor clamp to the shock absorber with a bolt that reaches 29 Nm (296 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf) while positioning the flexible hose correctly over the front speed sensor. The body gets secured with a second bolt at 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf) while applying the No. 2 sensor clamp. Connect the speed sensor connector to the body while fastening clamp A onto the body structure. Next place the front fender liner and the front side mudguard. Fasten the front wheel tightly to 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf) then reattach the negative cable battery connection at 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). The VSC sensor signal should be checked as the last step.
