The installation of the PCV valve begins by applying adhesive to 2 or 3 threads using Toyota genuine adhesive 1324, three bond 1324 or equivalent before securing the valve with a 22 mm deep socket wrench at 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf) torque until connecting the ventilation hose. Place the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly and verify the system for oil leaks.
