The service of the sedan rear spoiler starts with disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. The rear spoiler sub-assembly requires removal by disconnecting the center stop light connector followed by 2 bolt removal and application of protective tape for the luggage compartment door panel surrounding the rear spoiler before using an infrared light to heat the adhesive tape on the rear spoiler at 40 to 60 degrees Celsius (104 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for 1 to 2 minutes. C (104 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for 1 to 2 minutes. position wooden blocks on the body using piano wire and wooden blocks alternate the wire to cut the tape which sets the blocks into place to practice rear spoiler protection. Unscrew the two clips until the rear spoiler becomes detached. The installation of high mounted stop light assembly requires a string tied to wire harness followed by removal of two screws. You should install the high mounted stop light by using its 2 screws for the reassembly step. Before installation of the rear spoiler protector you must use a new protector and apply it correctly to the surface area. Repetition of the same installation steps applies to the rear right side installation. To start rear spoiler sub-assembly installation clean the rear spoiler by first heating its double-sided adhesive tape on the luggage compartment door panel before rubbing off the tape while still hot and finishing with white gasoline to clean the area.
