How to service and repair the ignition switch on 2007 Toyota Yaris?

To repair the ignition switch, disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the steering column cover by unscrewing three indicated screws. Take out the ignition switch assembly by disconnecting the connector and disengaging the claws. Reinstall the assembly and cover, then reconnect the battery terminal with a torque of 5.4 N.m.
