To remove the fuel tank, discharge pressure and disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect main and return tubes, breather and vent hoses, remove pump cover, bands, protector and filler hose, pull pump assembly with Special Service Tool, drain fuel, reinstall, fit gasket and check for leaks.
