Before service the water valve control cable must be separated from the water valve. The hose clips require pliers to grip their claws for sliding movement along the hose until hose detachment is achieved. When installing the equipment push the water hose until it reaches the second ridge of the heater radiator pipe and touches the water valve body. Pull out the bolt followed by the water valve from its mount. The installation will follow the opposite sequence of removal. You should verify water valve operation after installation when the ignition switch is set to ON and the temperature control switches are set to "MAX. COOL" or "MAX. WARM.". COOL" and "MAX. WARM." The control cable should be disconnected before checking the specified operation while the ignition switch is set to ON and temperature control switches adjusted to "MAX."
